Instructions for Shutai anesthetic

Applied dose

Before anesthesia

Atropine sulfate was given at the following dose 15 minutes before the injection of Shutai

Dog: 0.1mg / kg , subcutaneous injection

Cat: 0.05mg / kg , subcutaneous injection

Induced anesthetic dose

Dog: . 7 - 25mg / kg , intramuscular injection

5 — 10mg / kg , intravenous injection

Dog: 10 - 15mg / kg , intramuscular injection

 5 — 7.5mg / kg , intravenous injection

Anesthesia maintenance time: from 20 to 60 minutes depending on the dose .

Maintenance anesthesia dose

Recommended for the initial dose of 1/3 - 1/2 , intravenous injection.

Application Guide

In order to obtain the required anesthetic concentration, the lyophilized powder containing active ingredients can be mixed with the total amount of sterile solution ( Shutai 50 : 50mg / ml ) . When wild animals need to be thrown and injected, the solvent can be reduced to increase the concentration of Shutai to 400mg / ml .

Application taboo

Animals treated with organophosphate box amino acid esters.

Severe cardiac and respiratory insufficiency.

Pancreatic insufficiency.

Suffering from severe hypertension.

Precautions

Shutai can only be used on animals.

It is recommended to fast 12 hours before anesthesia .

When the animal is in the recovery period of anesthesia, the environment should be dark and quiet.

Pay attention to the warmth of anesthetized animals to prevent excessive heat loss.

Incompatibility with other drugs

Do not combine with the following drugs:

* Phenothiazine drugs (acepromazine, chlorpromazine, etc.), used together to inhibit cardiopulmonary function and cause hypothermia.

* Chloramphenicol, used together to cause clearance of narcotic drugs.

Store

Shutai freeze-dried powder is stable for at least 2 years.

After opening the bottle, Shutai can be stored in a dark environment at 4 degrees Celsius for 8 days.
