Running wheel, running table and swimming pool are the three major sports equipment for the study of animal behavior, exercise physiology and pharmacology. They have the advantages of stable function and good repeatability, effective quantitative measurement of animal motion, flexible and convenient adjustment of exercise load, less stimulation and disturbance to the animal. Among the three sports equipments, the running wheel system is a very valuable instrument in the research of animal behavior, animal exercise physiology and pharmacodynamics because of its flexibility and wide application. This system includes two types: self-running wheel and driving wheel.Self-running wheel is especially suitable for the study of Animal Circadian Rhythm, Circulatory Rhythm, ingestion, drug (drug) or pharmaceutical experiments. The driving wheel is driven by a motor and is suitable for animal forced movement training or sleep deprivation experiments.
1. The measurement and control experiment system of running wheel is visualized, which is convenient for the selection of motion mode, parameter setting and real-time display of motion data.
2.The running wheel system can be used to measure and control the autonomous motion and the forced motion。It is easy to operate manual rotation in motion mode .
3.According to the needs of users, different size of the wheel can be used for rats or mice exercise experiments.
4.A touch-screen monitor with 1 to 12 running wheel cage (optional number of running wheel) , equipped with data acquisition port, communication interface and software.
5.Small animals running wheel made of stainless steel and the wheel spins smoothly and steadily；
6.Around the cage is a plug-and-pull transparent protective plate, easy to observe and put animals.。
7.The small animal cage is spacious and the whole cage body is easy to clean.It's have a drinking cup and a food basket.There is also a removable cleaning excrement tray for easy cleaning.
Technical Specification
1.The 7-inch touch screen can control and test the movement data of 12 small animals running wheels in real time.
2.Data setting: According to the user's needs, you can input and select the time interval of output on the touch screen, such as 1 minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day.
3.Data test and collection: small animal motion parameters are tested by speed sensor and collected by PLC, 12 running wheel parameters can be collected at the same time, up to 120 days of data.；
4.Record time interval, instantaneous speed, maximum speed, run time, run time, run distance and total run distance.
5.According to the user needs to click on the touch screen cage number can display 6 kinds of motion parameters.；
6.All the data can be selected by touch screen in menu mode, displaying the text of various motion parameters of any 12-way running wheel at different time；
7.Data output: Automatically Generated Excel file stored in the memory card. Then it can be exported by USB interface.The data of U Disk is transcribed into computer by data conversion software.
